Job summary

Converge Technology Solutions UK is expanding its in-house AV capability and is seeking an AV Installations Engineer to join our growing team. You will install audio-visual systems, cabling, and data/fibre solutions across the UK, while complying with safety standards.

This role involves travel, client coordination, and collaboration with partners and internal teams. A full UK driving licence is required, and you will contribute to sustainability and customer excellence.

Qualifications

• Full UK Driving Licence is required.
• Experience in AV installations is essential.
• Data and fibre cabling experience is required.
• Cabinet patching and clean installations knowledge is needed.
• Access point installations experience is desirable.

Responsibilities

• Installing a range of audio-visual systems, structured cabling, and data/fibre solutions.
• Ensuring all work meets internal management systems and safety procedures.
• Supporting sustainability through responsible working practices.
• Completing installations within project time and budget allowances.
• Working closely with clients, partners, subcontractors, and internal teams.
• Regular UK travel, including overnight stays when required.

What You'll Do

• Installing a range of audio-visual systems, structured cabling, and data/fibre solutions
• Ensuring all work meets Converge's internal management systems and safety procedures
• Supporting our sustainability strategy through responsible working practices
• Completing installations within project time and budget allowances
• Working closely with clients, partners, subcontractors, and internal teams
• Regular UK travel, including overnight stays when required

What We're Looking For

Essential

• Full UK Driving Licence
• Experience in: AV installations
• Data and fibre cabling
• Cabinet patching and clean installations
• Access point installations

Desired (Not Essential)

• Certification experience with major AV brands (e.g., Promethean)
• Fibre installation/certification
• Wireless site surveys
• Data surveys
