Key Responsibilities:
- Installation and commissioning of commercial audio visual, control, and video conferencing solutions across the UK & Europe
- Follow all system documentation such as project brief, system schematics, rack elevations, room elevations, mechanical and electrical mark ups and furniture
- Consistently drive a high level of engineering quality for both yourself and fellow colleagues
- Manage, report and co-ordinate van stock levels, cable usage and tool states with Regional Technical Manager & project support team
- Working with the Project Co-Ordination team, manage all product returns and van stock levels
- Assess potential site risks and hazards to add to the existing site-specific risk and method statements
- Function as the focal point for internal and external engineering communication and documentation in the absence of a Project Manager
- Coordinate activities with general contractor, construction manager, owner, and other trades as required
- Provide regular reports to Regional Technical Management and Project Managers
- Regularly inspect installation work and assess against the Visavvi engineering standards documentation
- Test or certify the performance of installed systems
Skills and Experience
- Excellent installation knowledge of commercial AV products and brands (Extron, Harman, Crestron, Biamp & Polycom)
- Solid background working across the audio visual industry
- Comfortable working in a field based role, covering the surrounding regions
