Job summary

Uber is seeking an experienced Field Support Operations leader to shape and execute the AV deployment strategy across our platform. You will build rapid-response protocols, partner with AV teams and regulators, and drive regional incident management with a hands-on, structured approach.

You will lead training, coordinate drills, and align with cross-functional teams on budgets, KPIs and performance in a fast‑growing environment. Travel up to 50% will be required to support field presence.

Qualifications

• 5+ years of Operations Management or Program Management experience.
• AV Operations experience.
• Willingness to travel internationally up to 50%.
• Structured, organized and detail‑oriented.
• Thrive in dynamic, ambiguous environments with a hands-on startup‑like approach.
• Strong staffing, training, field response dispatching and SOP adherence.
• Clear communicator with ability to synthesize information quickly.
• Advanced proficiency in Excel/Google Sheets.
• Experience launching new products or services.
• Self-starter who can operate independently in ambiguity.
• Track record of successful project development and implementation.
• Excellent partner management.
• Data‑driven decision‑making mentality.

Responsibilities

• Lead our FSO partners through scaling rapid response supply, and support ongoing operations in your region with cross-functional partners.
• Act as the main point of contact for the FSO partner, managing escalations and driving resolutions for any operational issues.
• Lead Field Support Operator training in partnership with AV tech partners.
• Coordinate incident response drills and manage auditing activities with FSO partners.
• Work with Uber cross-functional teams to identify dependencies, inform budgets, define KPIs, and be accountable for performance.
• Approach data with curiosity and turn ideas into actionable plans.
