MAG (Airports Group) in London Stansted Airport is seeking an AUTOVER Technician to maintain baggage systems within a 4-on/4-off shift pattern. The role covers planned, preventative, reactive and corrective maintenance on AUTOVER and AUTOCa equipment during day shifts (06:00–18:00).

Responsibilities

• Carrying out reactive, preventative and corrective maintenance on AUTOCa carts.
• Supporting AUTOCa recovery during breakdowns and helping minimise operational downtime.
• Taking responsibility for the AUTOVER maintenance area, toolkits and specialist tools.
• Cleaning and maintaining AUTOVER track, sensors and injection points.
• Assessing component condition and helping plan maintenance around operational requirements.
• Monitoring faults, compiling fault trends and estimating component mean time between failures.
• Managing stock levels for items required to complete maintenance activity.
• Working closely with other engineering and operational teams to maintain a safe, reliable baggage operation.
