The role requires hands-on C++ and Python development, strong systems engineering fundamentals, and experience delivering software-intensive, defense-grade solutions.

Qualifications

Responsibilities

• Apply systems engineering principles to the development and integration of autonomous systems for defense applications.
• Translate operational needs into system, software, and autonomy requirements.
• Develop and maintain architectures, interfaces, and verification strategies.
• Collaborate with autonomy, software, guidance, and hardware teams for integration.
• Define interfaces between vehicle systems, sensors, and external systems.
• Maintain understanding of autonomy and software architecture and its translation to software behavior.
• Develop software, prototypes, analysis tools, and testing infrastructure with C++ and Python.
• Use data to investigate system behavior and support technical decisions.
• Lead system integration activities across simulation, hardware-in-the-loop, and flight test environments.
