• Previous experience managing a large garden centre or equivalent retail operation.

Responsibilities

• Take ownership of sales, KPIs and overall commercial performance.
• Lead, develop and grow the team through the centre’s growth phase.
• Identify commercial opportunities and implement plans to maximise potential.
• Drive layout, visual merchandising, product positioning and retail standards.
• Ensure the footprint is used effectively and shopping is easy and engaging.
• Develop managers and colleagues, set clear expectations, build a high-performance culture.
• Maintain high operational standards and consistent delivery of basics.
• Lead from the front and remain visible across the centre.
