Job summary

The Imperial College Healthcare NHS Trust invites an experienced nurse to join the Uro-Oncology Clinical Nurse Specialist team at Charing Cross Hospital, London. This role works as an autonomous specialist practitioner delivering expert nursing care along the cancer pathway.

You will act as a key worker, manage a specialist caseload and collaborate with the MDT to ensure timely, personalised patient-centred care, education and service development in uro-oncology.

Responsibilities

• Deliver expert nursing care to patients with suspected or confirmed urological cancers across the diagnostic, treatment, surveillance, survivorship and palliative pathways.
• Act as an autonomous practitioner, undertaking specialist assessments and coordinating complex uro-oncology pathways.
• Be a key worker and consistent point of contact for patients and families, providing specialist advice and educational support.
• Collaborate with the Uro-Oncology MDT to inform clinical decisions and ensure safe patient pathways.
• Support management of patients across prostate, bladder, kidney, and other urological cancers within the service.
