Job summary

Nottingham University Hospitals NHS Trust is seeking an Urology Cancer Clinical Nurse Specialist to provide expert nursing care, support, and advice to patients with suspected or confirmed urological cancers across the pathway.

You will act as a consistent point of contact from diagnosis, undertake holistic assessments, care planning, and coordination with multidisciplinary teams to ensure timely information and compassionate support.

Qualifications

• Registered Nurse with current NMC registration.
• Evidence of ongoing professional development.
• Experience in acute healthcare and MDT working.
• Experience with caseload management and patient assessment.
• Desirable: cancer care, urology, or CNS experience.

Responsibilities

• Provide specialist nursing care to patients with urological cancers.
• Coordinate investigation, treatment, and follow-up within the cancer pathway.
• Communicate complex information clearly and compassionately.
• Contribute to service development, governance, and quality improvement.
