Job summary

York And Scarborough Teaching Hospitals NHS Foundation Trust is seeking an Experienced Urgent Care Practitioner to join Malton Urgent Treatment Centre. The role requires autonomous practice, expert clinical decision-making, and delivery of safe care within professional boundaries.

You will assess, diagnose, manage and evaluate care for local patients, with a requirement for Minor Illness/Minor Injury qualifications and potential non-medical prescribing within the first year.

Qualifications

• Independent practitioner acting within professional boundaries.
• Ability to communicate effectively with clinicians, patients and staff.

Responsibilities

• Take complete history and perform clinical examination to diagnose and treat varied conditions.
• Evaluate treatment effectiveness and discharge or refer as needed.
• Promote health and give health advice and education to patients.
