Job summary

SYOS Aerospace in the United Kingdom is seeking a Manufacturing Engineer to establish production processes for autonomous systems across air, land, sea, and subsurface applications. You will turn engineering designs into practical, repeatable manufacturing and own the handover packages for production.

You will lead process flows, PFMEA development, tooling and work instruction specification, and pilot builds to ensure readiness for serial production.

Qualifications

• Experience in manufacturing engineering within assembly or production environments.
• Experience developing process flows, manufacturing documentation and work instructions from the ground up.
• Proven experience authoring and maintaining PFMEAs and understanding their role in production controls.

Responsibilities

• Translate designs and NPI handover into production-ready processes and documentation.
• Develop and maintain PFMEA and APQP controls.
• Create clear work instructions, tooling requirements and test equipment needs.
• Plan and run trial builds and iterate processes before serial production.
