Job summary

Lodestar Space Ltd. is hiring Avionics Software Engineers across three focus areas: Flight Software, Distributed Middleware, and Embedded Linux. You will own one area while working with avionics, AI/ML, and hardware teams.

Qualifications

• BEng/MEng in Engineering, CS, or equivalent experience.
• Strong C++ foundation.
• Experience with embedded Linux/RTOS.
• Knowledge of multi-process architectures and IPC.
• Strong communicator and self-starter; able to work independently.
• Proven debugging and performance skills.

Responsibilities

• Contribute to flight software, middleware, or embedded Linux initiatives.
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams across avionics, AI/ML, and hardware.
• Develop and validate mission-critical software on representative spacecraft platforms.
