Job summary

Hult in London is seeking an experienced software engineer to pioneer agentic software systems. You will own outcomes and design agent workflows that plan, execute and verify work, while maintaining human oversight where needed.

You'll build the agent harness, memory, and verification capabilities, enabling multiple workstreams to run in parallel and converge on reliable production outcomes. This is a full-time on-site role based at our Chelsea office in London.

Qualifications

• Substantial production software engineering experience.
• Able to delegate substantial engineering work.
• Able to design verification and context for builds.
• Experience with AI systems is a plus.
• Comfortable working with technical and non-technical stakeholders.
• Strong systems thinking and verification mindset.

Responsibilities

• Own outcomes, not tickets, and define the shortest path to production.
• Delegate outcomes, not steps, and empower agents to progress.
• Engineer the agent harness with instructions, tools and environments.
• Engineer context and memory for agents to retain critical knowledge.
• Push toward an autonomous software factory with parallel workstreams.
• Make autonomous work trustworthy through tests and observability.
