We're looking for a highly skilled AI Engineer to join a growing London-based team and play a key role in designing and developing cutting-edge agentic AI systems that will power the next generation of enterprise automation.
What You'll Be Doing
- Designing and developing agentic AI systems capable of autonomous decision-making and task execution.
- Building sophisticated LLM-powered applications, orchestration frameworks, memory architectures, and tool-use capabilities.
- Developing custom AI workflows using large language models, retrieval systems, and multi-agent architectures.
- Collaborating closely with product and engineering teams to embed AI into real-world business processes.
- Contributing to the architecture and evolution of a proprietary AI platform in a truly greenfield environment.
- Evaluating emerging AI technologies and helping shape technical direction and best practices.
What We're Looking For
- Commercial experience designing and building AI, machine learning, or generative AI applications.
- Strong Python engineering skills and experience developing production-grade software.
- Hands‑on experience with technologies such as Azure OpenAI, Azure AI Services, and Azure Machine Learning.
- Knowledge of modern AI frameworks including LangChain, Hugging Face, PyTorch, or similar technologies.
- Deep understanding of LLMs, RAG architectures, vector databases, prompt engineering, agentic AI, and multi‑agent systems.
- Experience deploying, monitoring, and optimising AI solutions in production environments.
- A builder's mindset with a passion for solving complex technical challenges from first principles.
- Ability to commute to a London office once per week.
Desirable Experience
- AI orchestration and workflow frameworks.
- Knowledge graph or semantic search technologies.
- Model fine‑tuning and evaluation.
- MLOps, CI/CD, containerisation, and cloud‑native deployment practices.
- Experience developing autonomous agents and reasoning systems.
