Job summary

Central London Community Healthcare NHS Trust is seeking a Specialist Speech & Language Therapist (0.8 wte) to join the Harrow Adult Community SALT Service. The role covers domiciliary and outpatient work for adults with dysphagia and communication needs, with a focus on progressive neurological conditions.

You will work across Honeypot Lane and Alexandra Avenue Health Centres, supported by a multidisciplinary team, with opportunities for service development projects and CPD.

Qualifications

• 0.8 wte Speech and Language Therapist with experience of adults with acquired and progressive neurological conditions.
• Competent in dysphagia and communication assessments and rehabilitation.
• Able to work autonomously in clients' homes, nursing homes and outpatient clinics.
• Driving licence desirable.

Responsibilities

• Provide domiciliary and outpatient assessment and therapy for adults with dysphagia and communication difficulties.
• Manage a varied specialist caseload and contribute to service development projects.
• Support supervision and development of junior colleagues.
