Job summary

Qualifications

• Registered Mental Health Nurse (RMN) with current NMC registration.
• Significant post-registration experience in mental health services.
• Experience of working within a multidisciplinary team and collaboratively with health, social care, and other agencies.
• Car driver with access to car and full UK driving license.

Responsibilities

• Manage a defined caseload and deliver person-centred, evidence-based care.
• Coordinate day-to-day clinical activity and support effective team functioning.
• Undertake comprehensive mental health assessments, risk assessments, care planning and reviews.
• Deliver evidence-based interventions and monitor treatment outcomes.
• Work collaboratively with service users, carers, primary care, social care, and other partner agencies.
• Ensure compliance with relevant legislation including the MH Act and Care Act.
• Administer and monitor medication, including depot/IM injections as required.
• Provide clinical leadership and supervision to colleagues and junior staff.
• Participate in audit, service evaluation and quality improvement initiatives.
