Job summary

Frimley Health NHS Foundation Trust is recruiting a Band 6 Clinical Nurse Specialist or Allied Health Professional in Respiratory for Farnham Hospital. You will assess, manage and review patients with diverse respiratory conditions, working autonomously while collaborating with the MDT to improve outcomes and reduce admissions.

The role offers a comprehensive induction, ongoing professional development, and a 37.5-hour week with potential weekend work.

Qualifications

• Registered nurse with valid NMC registration and practice atBand 6 level.
• Degree in nursing or demonstrable experience at this level.
• Teaching or assessment programme experience.

Responsibilities

• Provide specialist respiratory intervention and support multidisciplinary team with assessment and holistic management plans.
• Assess respiratory patients with a range of presentations including complex conditions.
• Demonstrate knowledge in COPD, asthma, bronchiectasis, ILD and oxygen therapy.
• Apply local and national guidelines to respiratory care and pathways.
• Develop clinical skills, contribute to service development and professional portfolios.
• Support professional development across two organisations and provide education to staff.
