Job summary

Iceland Foods is seeking hands-on refrigeration and air conditioning engineers to join our in-house team. You will maintain and repair refrigeration assets across stores, diagnose faults, and ensure safety and compliance while working with minimal supervision.

Full training on our equipment and safety protocols is provided. You'll benefit from an autonomous role, modern systems, and a company van with tools while contributing to reliable store operations.

Qualifications

• NVQ Level 2/3 in Refrigeration & Air Conditioning or equivalent.
• F-Gas Category 1 certificate.
• Electrical and mechanical diagnostic skills.
• Strong customer focus and ability to work independently.
• Full UK driving licence.

Responsibilities

• Maintain and repair refrigeration assets (display cases, freezers, cold rooms, chillers, packs, condensers).
• Diagnose faults using engineering skills and monitoring systems (RDM, Monika).
• Ensure compliance and documentation.
• Collaborate with store teams to reduce downtime.
