Job summary

Iceland Foods is seeking a Refrigeration Engineer to join the Kent Area refrigeration team. You’ll maintain display cases, freezers, cold rooms, and chillers across stores, with training provided where needed.

The role offers autonomy, a company van, tools, and ongoing development in modern refrigerants and controls. You’ll work with store teams to minimize downtime while complying with health, safety and F-Gas regulations.

Qualifications

• NVQ Level 2/3 in Refrigeration & Air Conditioning or equivalent experience.
• Electrical and mechanical diagnostic skills are essential.
• Strong customer focus and ability to work independently.

Responsibilities

• Maintain and repair refrigeration assets (display cases, freezers, cold rooms, chillers, packs, condensers).
• Diagnose faults using engineering skills and monitoring systems (RDM, Monika).
• Ensure compliance and documentation (F-Gas, safety).
• Collaborate with store teams to reduce downtime.
