The Flavour Network is recruiting a hands-on Project & Automation Engineer in Nottinghamshire to lead automation and process-improvement projects from concept to installation and handover. You will work closely with production and engineering teams, delivering practical solutions on the factory floor and supporting the site's investment programme.

Qualifikationen

• Experience in food manufacturing or FMCG environments is essential.
• PLC and HMI programming experience across Mitsubishi, Omron, or Siemens.
• Hands-on capability to design, fabricate, and wire control panels.
• Strong fault-finding and problem-solving abilities with good documentation.

Aufgaben

• Lead automation, engineering, and continuous improvement projects from concept to commissioning.
• Design, fabricate, and install mechanical improvements and production aids.
• Build, wire, and modify electrical control panels and PLC/HMI systems.
• Program PLCs and HMIs to support automation and process improvements.
• Install and calibrate sensors, motors, drives, and safety devices.
• Support CAPEX planning and delivery across the manufacturing site.
• Install, commission, and optimise new machinery and line upgrades.
• Collaborate with Production to trial, evaluate, and implement improvements.
• Maintain project documentation and engineering records.
• Ensure compliance with food safety, quality, and H&S standards.
