Birmingham Community Healthcare NHS Foundation Trust is recruiting a Band 5/6 Podiatrist. You will work as part of the city-wide Podiatry Service delivering autonomous care in clinics and domiciliary settings, handling new referrals, assessment, diagnosis and treatment planning, while promoting foot health and patient self-care.

Qualifications

• Podiatry degree and HCPC registration required.
• Minimum 12 months NHS experience.
• Nail surgery experience advantageous.

Responsabilités

• Carry out new patient assessments and formulate treatment plans.
• Manage a caseload of domiciliary visits and wound care.
• Perform biomechanical assessments and develop treatment plans.
• Promote minor surgery for nail conditions and provide follow-up care.
• Cover sickness/absence across BCHC sites and transfer of care when needed.
