Derbyshire Community Health Services NHS Foundation Trust (DCHS) is seeking a Band 6 Community Specialist Podiatrist to cover Chesterfield and North East areas. The role offers permanent, with full-time or part-time options, autonomy in high-risk foot care, wound management and MSK assessment within a supportive Community Podiatry Service.

Candidates with post-registration podiatry experience, sound clinical reasoning, and strong collaborative skills within multidisciplinary teams are encouraged

Qualifications

• Experience in podiatry post-registration.
• Strong clinical reasoning and decision-making.

Responsabilités

• Manage a specialist clinical caseload autonomously.
• Assess, diagnose, plan and deliver evidence-based podiatric care.
• Provide advice, education and preventative foot-care information to patients and carers.
• Collaborate with GPs, nurses, diabetes teams and other MDT members.
• Contribute to service development and quality improvement.
