Essex Partnership NHS Foundation Trust is seeking an experienced Occupational Therapist to join the Perinatal Mental Health Service. You will manage a caseload of women in the perinatal period and deliver OT interventions to support mental and physical health for mothers and babies.

You will work within a multidisciplinary team across Essex, liaise with primary care and maternity services, supervise students, and maintain HCPC registration.

Qualificações

• Minimum 2 years post-qualification experience as an Occupational Therapist.
• Experience safeguarding both adult and child populations.
• Community-based OT experience.
• Experience working with individuals with mental health needs.
• Experience in perinatal mental health services.
• Experience supervising OT students.
• Experience setting up and running OT groups.

Responsabilidades

• Manage a caseload of women in the perinatal period.
• Provide occupational therapy interventions to support mental and physical health for mothers, babies and families.
• Collaborate with Perinatal Practitioners, Psychology, Social Workers and other MDT members.
• Conduct high-quality mental health assessments as required.
• Develop care plans in partnership with service users focusing on recovery goals.
• Facilitate smooth transitions between primary and secondary care and liaise with partner agencies.
