The Methodist Church in Britain is seeking a Band 6 paediatric physiotherapist for Perseid Upper and Lower Schools. You will provide specialist assessment, treatment and advice to children with complex needs, working with families, school staff and the health team across school, home and clinic settings.

You will work autonomously, support physiotherapy assistants, and contribute to service development while maintaining high professional standards through HCPC and CSP registration.

Qualifications

• Degree or diploma in physiotherapy.
• HCPC and CSP registration required.
• Experience with paediatric populations is desirable.

Responsabilités

• Provide specialist paediatric physiotherapy assessment, treatment and advice to a defined caseload at Perseid special schools.
• Set goals, plan intervention and monitor its effectiveness using outcome measures.
• Assess and treat children in school, at home or in clinic as part of a multidisciplinary team.
• Communicate findings and treatment plans sensitively to families and school staff.
• Write reports and provide written advice for EHCPs and Annual Reviews.
• Support and supervise physiotherapy assistants and contribute to service development.
• Deliver training and education for families and school staff.
• Take part in clinical audit and service development.
