Job summary

Cambridgeshire and Peterborough NHS Foundation Trust is recruiting an Occupational Therapist to join the Cambridge Adult Locality Team at Union House in Cambridge. This post is a Band 6 development track for experienced practitioners or a Band 5 development post for those newly qualified or completing training.

Qualifications

• Degree or equivalent into the OT profession (BSc, MSc or Diploma).
• Current HCPC registration.
• Evidence of continuing professional development.
• Member of Royal College of Occupational Therapy.
• Clinical experience in a variety of settings.
• Clinical supervision experience and community experience.

Responsibilities

• Work as an autonomous practitioner within the Cambridge Adult Locality Team to provide high‑quality patient care.
• Assess, plan and develop OT programmes for patients with complex needs.
• Manage own caseload, prioritise referrals and use clinical reasoning for assessments.
• Supervise junior staff and students, overseeing intervention delivery by Senior/Lead Therapists.
• Be flexible and work across community settings, including lone working with access to senior support.
