Job summary

Greys Specialist Recruitment is assisting a food manufacturing client in Leicestershire to recruit an experienced Occupational Health Nurse Advisor. The role covers two manufacturing sites, with 40 hours per week and a mix of late or night shifts.

You will deliver health surveillance, provide OH advice, and support managers and employees to maintain a safe workplace. The role offers an autonomous position within a supportive team, with opportunities for training and career development.

Qualifications

• Current NMC registration is required.
• Minimum of 3 years' Occupational Health experience.
• Recent experience conducting and interpreting health surveillance.
• Experience in occupational health case management.
• Excellent communication and organisational skills.
• Degree or Diploma in Occupational Health.

Responsibilities

• Deliver health surveillance programmes, including audiometry and lung function testing.
• Arrange occupational health clinics and maintain accurate records using OH software.
• Assess, interpret and manage complex occupational health information.
• Provide clear, practical advice to managers, HR teams and employees.
• Conduct case management and provide fitness‑for‑work recommendations.
• Support the identification and prevention of work‑related ill health.
• Promote health risk management and wellbeing initiatives.
• Assess the impact of work activities on employee health.
• Work independently while collaborating effectively with the wider business.
