Locum Ready is seeking a Nurse Practitioner to run autonomous NP-led clinics at a Gosport GP practice. You will provide triage support, manage minor illness presentations, and help run daily clinical activity with strong clinical oversight.

The role focuses on independent assessment and treatment within a supportive team, with opportunities to maintain continuity of care and contribute to efficient on-the-day demand management.

Qualifications

• Registered Nurse Practitioner with relevant experience.
• Independent Prescribing qualification desirable.
• Background in primary care, urgent care or community nursing.
• Confident autonomous clinician with strong clinical judgement.
• Familiarity with EMIS, SystmOne or Vision.
• Enhanced DBS.

Responsibilities

• Running minor illness and urgent care NP clinics.
• Telephone triage and patient streaming.
• Assessing, diagnosing and managing undifferentiated presentations.
• Prescribing independently where qualified.
• Reviewing investigations and actioning follow-up tasks.
• Ensuring accurate documentation within the clinical system.
• Supporting GPs and Practice Nurses with core clinical duties.
