Locum Ready, based in the UK, is seeking a Nurse Practitioner to work with a GP practice in March. The role involves autonomous NP-led clinics, efficient triage, and contributing to daily clinical activity.

The GP practice offers strong clinical oversight and a friendly multidisciplinary team. You will deliver minor illness care, assess and manage presentations, and, if qualified, prescribe independently.

Qualifications

• Registered Nurse Practitioner with relevant experience.
• Independent Prescribing qualification desirable.
• Background in primary care, urgent care or community nursing.

Responsibilities

• Running minor illness and urgent care NP clinics.
• Telephone triage and patient streaming.
• Assessing, diagnosing and managing undifferentiated presentations.
• Prescribing independently where qualified.
• Reviewing investigations and actioning follow-up tasks.
• Ensuring accurate documentation within the clinical system.
• Supporting GPs and Practice Nurses with core clinical duties.
