Job summary

Jamieson Medical Practice in Chryston & Moodiesburn, North Lanarkshire, seeks an autonomous Advanced Nurse Practitioner to join our multidisciplinary team delivering high-quality, person-centred care.

This permanent post is available for part-time or full-time hours, offering a supportive environment with opportunities for advanced practice, cross-boundary collaboration with Glasgow and Lanarkshire hospitals, and access to Vision and Docman systems.

Qualifications

• Registered Nurse with NMC registration and an advanced practice diploma.
• Post-Graduate Diploma in Advanced Practice.
• Experience in primary care or transferable clinical experience.
• Experience using Vision and Docman systems.

Responsibilities

• Manage patient presentations from history taking to diagnosis, treatment, and appropriate referral or discharge.
• Perform urgent care triage and same-day clinics.
• Prescribe autonomously as a registered Non-Medical Prescriber (V300).
• Request, undertake, and interpret diagnostic tests and investigations.
• Make autonomous decisions to admit, refer, or discharge patients within clinical pathways.
