Job summary

Locum Ready is seeking a Nurse Practitioner to work for a GP practice in Brighouse. You will run autonomous NP-led clinics, provide triage support and help sustain daily clinical activity.

You will assess and manage minor illness, prescribe independently where qualified, and collaborate with GPs and Practice Nurses within a supportive MDT. Strong clinical judgement and DBS clearance are expected.

Qualifications

• Registered Nurse Practitioner with current practising registration.
• Independent Prescribing qualification desirable.
• Experience in primary or urgent care settings.
• Familiarity with EMIS, SystmOne or Vision; Enhanced DBS.

Responsibilities

• Run minor illness and urgent care NP clinics.
• Telephone triage and patient streaming.
• Assess, diagnose and manage undifferentiated presentations.
• Prescribe independently where qualified.
• Review investigations and follow-up tasks.
• Document accurately in the clinical system; support GPs and Practice Nurses.
