Job summary

Locum Ready is seeking a Locum Nurse Practitioner to work at a GP practice in Edgware. The NP will run autonomous NP-led clinics, provide triage support and help maintain continuity of care for patients.

The role involves working in a friendly, multidisciplinary team with clearly defined clinic structures to ensure efficient and manageable sessions, including on‑site morning/afternoon slots and potential long‑term opportunities.

Qualifications

• Registered Nurse Practitioner with relevant experience.
• Independent Prescribing qualification desirable.
• Background in primary care, urgent care or community nursing.

Responsibilities

• Running minor illness and urgent care NP clinics.
• Telephone triage and patient streaming.
• Assessing, diagnosing and managing undifferentiated presentations.
• Prescribing independently where qualified.
• Reviewing investigations and actioning follow-up tasks.
• Ensuring accurate documentation within the clinical system.
• Supporting GPs and Practice Nurses with core clinical duties.
