Job summary

Nottingham University Hospitals NHS Trust seeks an Advanced Neonatal Clinician to cross the nursing and medical care boundary, working autonomously with Consultant supervision. The post-holder will lead in early assessment, planning and delivery of holistic neonatal care for babies and families within Level 2/3 units.

Role includes shift patterns, potential progression from Tier 1 to Tier 2, and commitment to CPD, education and service improvement within NUH.

Qualifications

• BSc Neonatal Studies or degree-level Neonatal qualification.
• ENB 405 or equivalent neonatal qualification with evidence of degree-level learning.
• Masters in Advanced Clinical Nursing Practice (Neonatal) preferred with evidence of delivery and leadership.

Responsibilities

• Provide advanced neonatal nursing care with independent clinical judgement.
• Coordinate and lead patient assessments, planning, delivery and evaluation.
• Support education, training and mentorship within the Neonatal team.
