Job summary

Ocean Infinity seeks multiple Software Engineers up to Senior level to help build autonomous marine systems. You will contribute to real-time control, safety, autonomy, and mission execution for AUVs and USVs in demanding environments.

Responsibilities include developing high-speed control software, navigation, sensor integration, and robust communications. You will test under operational conditions and participate in sea trials, with focus on safety and reliability.

Qualifications

  • Strong experience with modern C++ in safety- or mission-critical apps.
  • Experience with real-time or embedded systems.
  • Linux development experience and workflows.
  • Ability to work in a multi-disciplinary engineering team.
  • Strong ownership mindset and initiative to simplify and deliver.

Responsibilities

  • Develop and refine real-time control systems for high-speed autonomous surface and underwater vehicles.
  • Write reliable software for navigation, mission execution, fault management and sensor integration.
  • Design communications interfaces (serial, satellite, acoustic) for low-bandwidth conditions.
  • Build safety-critical subsystems including fallback modes and health monitoring.
  • Work with field teams to test, iterate, and validate software under operations.
  • Participate in design reviews, simulations, hardware-in-the-loop testing and sea trials.
  • Integrate new sensors and equipment with the C2 system.
