You will join Young's Citygate in Exeter as Head Chef, responsible for crafting fresh seasonal menus that reflect our local produce, while leading a motivated team across various pub revenue streams.

You will inspire, train, and manage the kitchen, ensuring excellent service and cost control, with a strong focus on development and quality. This role offers rich perks and a clear path for growth.

Qualificações

• Inspire a team and lead by example while developing fresh seasonal menus.
• Champion excellent service through quality food as Head Chef or Sous Chef.
• Strong communication and hands-on team participation.
• Manage kitchen staff rota, training and health and safety.
• Creative ability to design new dishes and daily specials.
• Strong planning and organisational skills to control GP and labour.
• Pro-active in driving sales and growth via kitchen and front-of-house.

Responsabilidades

• Write recipes that match the food vision using fresh seasonal ingredients.
• Menu should evolve to showcase local produce, country pub classics, seafood, small plates and sharers.
• Lead and develop the kitchen team and ensure high standards of cooking and service.
