Job summary

Archvale in Reading is looking for a GP for a salaried, part-time role consisting of 2 sessions per week at Westwood Road Surgery. You will provide autonomous medical care within the GMS framework, maintain high clinical standards, and collaborate with a multidisciplinary team to ensure continuity of care.

The role requires GMC registration, MBBS or equivalent, and CCT alongside NHS Performer’s List eligibility.

Qualifications

• Recognised primary medical qualification (MBBS or equivalent).
• Certificate of Completion of GP Training (CCT).
• Full GMC Registration and NHS Performer’s List status.
• Polite, professional communication with patients and staff.

Responsibilities

• Deliver highly effective medical care to the entitled population.
• Provide services per the GMS contract and maintain records.
• Manage long-term conditions and coordinate referrals and admin tasks.
• On rotation, act as duty doctor and contribute to practice meetings.
• Support training of medical students and participate in quality initiatives.
