Sharper Consulting Services Limited is seeking an experienced Environmental Protection Officer to join our local authority client in the South West. You will own a live statutory nuisance and noise caseload with autonomy from day one.

Role includes noise investigations, monitoring, acoustics assessments, and evidence gathering for enforcement actions, enabling independent, proportionate regulatory decisions throughout the caseload. 3 days on site, 6-month term, ASAP start.

Qualifications

• Strong local authority EP background.
• Practical, hands-on EPA 1990 experience.
• CIEH-accredited qualification preferred.
• Ability to work independently from day one.

Responsabilités

• Managing your own statutory nuisance caseload.
• Noise investigation, monitoring and acoustics assessment.
• Evidence gathering and case preparation for enforcement action.
• Proportionate, confident regulatory decision-making.
