Job summary

Elix Sourcing Solutions Limited is seeking an experienced Engineering Buyer to take full ownership of sourcing engineered components and materials for production and custom projects. You will interpret drawings and BOMs, negotiate with suppliers, and manage all procurement activities to ensure on-time delivery and cost efficiency.

The role reports directly to the Board Director, working across engineering, production, and quality teams to meet strict technical and regulatory standards.

Qualifications

• Proven experience in technical or engineering procurement within manufacturing.
• Ability to interpret engineering drawings and Bills of Materials (BOMs).
• Experience with ERP/MRP systems and autonomous procurement.
• Strong supplier negotiation and cost reduction focus.

Responsibilities

• Take sole responsibility for sourcing engineered components, raw materials, tooling, and technical services from approved suppliers.
• Coordinate with wider Group companies to leverage spend and secure volume pricing.
• Support production projects by sourcing prototype materials and managing supplier involvement.
• Collaborate with internal engineering, production, and quality teams to meet technical standards.
