Job summary

The Doncaster CAMHS Service, operated by Rotherham Doncaster and South Humber NHS Foundation Trust, is seeking a Band 6 CAMHS Practitioner to join the Getting Advice Pathway Team. The post involves autonomous work with a complex caseload across multi-agency settings and within a children’s safeguarding framework.

You will participate in assessments, deliver evidence-based interventions, and provide advice to professionals, parents and young people.

Qualifications

• Post-qualification experience with young people with complex mental health needs and with children and families.
• Managing and prioritising a complex caseload.
• Multi-disciplinary working.
• Advanced level of practice with demonstrable professional autonomy.
• Person-centred assessment, care planning and risk assessment with young people, families and agencies.

Responsibilities

• Complete assessments of children, young people and families.
• Deliver evidence-based interventions.
• Provide advice and support to professionals, parents and young people.
• Provide person-centred assessment, care planning, implementation and evaluation.
• Undertake risk assessments and agree plans with young people, families and other agencies.
• Manage and prioritise a complex caseload, working autonomously.
• Work within a children and young people's safeguarding framework.
• Work as part of a multi-disciplinary, multi-agency team.
