Job summary

Block Recruit is seeking a hands‑on Block Manager to manage a dedicated residential portfolio. The role demands autonomy, client focus and a proactive approach to estates and block management.

The ideal candidate has 3–4 years in residential block management, holds MTPI/MRICS/AssocRICS or ATPI qualification, and is comfortable working in a hybrid setup with travel across sites as needed.

Qualifications

• Minimum 3–4 years’ experience in residential block/estate management.
• MTPI/MRICS/AssocRICS or ATPI qualification in progress or achieved.

Responsibilities

• Full end-to-end management of a residential block/estate portfolio.
• Act as main point of contact for clients, residents, contractors and stakeholders.
• Organise, attend and chair AGMs and client meetings independently.
• Prepare and manage service charge budgets and year-end accounts.
• Ensure compliance with legislation, regulations and best practice.
• Instruct, manage and monitor contractors and maintenance works.
• Produce accurate correspondence, reports and updates.
• Supervise on-site staff where applicable.
• Plan, prioritise and adapt workload to meet business needs.
