Job summary

Locum Ready is seeking an experienced Advanced Nurse Practitioner to deliver autonomous ANP-led sessions across Thame in established primary care clinics.

You will conduct advanced assessments, manage same-day presentations and support routine patient demand, with full clinical autonomy and consistent working environments. Flexible sessional bookings and DBS clearance are key for ongoing opportunities.

• Advanced clinical assessment and decision-making skills.
• Effective triage and patient management in primary care.
• Strong communication with patients and teams.

Responsibilities

• Run autonomous ANP-led clinics within primary care settings.
• Manage acute, undifferentiated and minor illness presentations.
• Conduct telephone and face-to-face triage.
• Prescribe safely within scope of competence.
• Review results and follow-up actions.
• Record accurate clinical notes in the digital systems.
