Job summary

Locum Ready is seeking an experienced Advanced Nurse Practitioner to deliver flexible regional primary care sessions across Sturminster Newton.

You will run autonomous ANP-led clinics within established GP and community services, providing advanced assessments, triage, and same-day care while maintaining consistent working environments.

With Level 7 Advanced Practice and V300 prescribing, you will work independently with DBS clearance and have weekday, evening or weekend availability.

Qualifications

• Level 7 Advanced Practice qualification required.
• Independent Prescribing (V300) is required.
• Experience in GP, urgent care or community settings.
• Strong diagnostic reasoning and communication skills.
• Confidence working autonomously in new environments.
• Enhanced DBS clearance.

Responsibilities

• Running autonomous ANP-led clinics within primary care settings.
• Managing acute, undifferentiated and minor illness presentations.
• Conducting telephone and face-to-face triage.
• Prescribing safely within scope of competence.
• Reviewing results and handling routine follow-up actions.
• Recording accurate clinical notes within the clinic’s digital systems.
