Job summary

Locum Ready is seeking an experienced Advanced Nurse Practitioner for flexible regional primary care sessions across Totnes. This role offers autonomy over clinical practice within established GP and community clinics.

You will deliver advanced assessments, manage same-day presentations, and support routine patient demand, with clear pathways and a safe, efficient workflow across regional services. Flexible weekday/evening/weekend sessions available, ad-hoc or regular bookings.

Qualifications

• Advanced Practice qualification at Level 7.
• Independent Prescribing (V300) required.
• Experience in GP, urgent care or community settings.

Responsibilities

• Run autonomous ANP-led clinics in primary care.
• Manage acute, undifferentiated and minor illness presentations.
• Conduct telephone and face-to-face triage.
• Prescribe safely within scope of competence.
• Review results and follow up actions.
• Record accurate clinical notes in digital systems.
