Job summary

Locum Ready is seeking an experienced Advanced Nurse Practitioner to deliver autonomous ANP-led clinics across Wooler and surrounding primary care settings. You will conduct advanced assessments, manage same-day presentations, and support routine patient demand within GP and community services.

Fully flexible sessional work with weekday, evening or weekend availability. You will prescribe within your scope, review results, and maintain accurate clinical notes in digital systems while enjoying

Qualifications

• Level 7 Advanced Practice qualification is required.
• Independent Prescribing (V300) is required.
• Experience in GP, urgent care or community settings is required.
• Enhanced DBS clearance is required.

Responsibilities

• Running autonomous ANP-led clinics within primary care settings
• Managing acute, undifferentiated and minor illness presentations
• Conducting telephone and face-to-face triage
• Prescribing safely within scope of competence
• Reviewing results and handling routine follow-up actions
• Recording accurate clinical notes within the clinic’s digital systems
