Job summary

Lancashire Teaching Hospitals NHS Foundation Trust in Preston seeks an experienced Advanced Practitioner Sonographer to join the ultrasound team at Royal Preston Hospital. You will work largely in ultrasound with opportunities to rotate to other sites, undertake a wide range of examinations and report independently.

The post supports postgraduate ultrasound training, supervision of colleagues, and involvement in CPD.

Qualifications

• Registered sonographer with NHS experience preferred.
• Demonstrated ability to mentor junior staff and students.
• Comfort with case presentations and postgraduate ultrasound training.

Responsibilities

• Undertake a wide range of ultrasound examinations independently.
• Provide supervision and training to other sonographers and staff.
• Participate in departmental CPD and appraisal processes.
