Job summary

Locum Ready is seeking a Locum Advanced Clinical Practitioner to provide autonomous clinical assessments and safe decision-making within a structured primary care setting in Redhill. You will run your own clinics within an established MDT, supporting urgent and routine patient demand with clear pathways and strong admin support.

The ideal candidate will have an Level 7/Postgraduate ACP qualification, a nursing/paramedic/physiotherapy background, and a V300 prescribing qualification is preferred.

Qualifications

• Advanced Clinical Practitioner qualification (Level 7/Postgraduate).
• Background in Nursing, Paramedic Science, Physiotherapy or similar.
• Independent Prescribing qualification (V300 or equivalent) preferred.
• Recent experience in primary care, urgent care or UTC settings.

Responsibilities

• Conduct acute and same-day access clinics.
• Autonomous assessment, diagnosis and management of undifferentiated presentations.
• Telephone triage and clinical streaming.
• Ordering and interpreting investigations.
• Prescribing safely within scope (where qualified).
• Managing follow-up actions, results and referral workflows.
• Documenting clearly using the practice clinical system.
