Job summary

Poltrona Frau S.p.A. in Coventry is seeking a Quality Engineer to uphold product and process quality in line with IATF 16949, ISO 9001 and customer standards.

You will be the key interface between Production, Engineering, Suppliers and OEM Customers. You will drive PFMEA, Control Plans, SPC and data analysis; lead 8D/5Whys investigations, support audits, supplier quality activities, and pursue continuous improvement through Lean and Six Sigma.

Qualifications

• Degree in Engineering (Mechanical, Industrial, Automotive or similar).
• 5–7 years of experience in a Quality role within the automotive Tier 1 environment.
• Proven experience in direct interaction with OEM customers.
• Strong knowledge of IATF 16949, ISO 9001 and VDA standards.

Responsibilities

• Ensure QMS compliance with IATF 16949, ISO 9001 and customer requirements.
• Define and improve process flows, procedures and work instructions.
• Participate in APQP activities during product/process development.
• Develop PFMEA, Control Plans and related quality documentation.
• Monitor SPC and data analysis to identify trends and improvement opportunities.
• Lead 8D, 5Why, Ishikawa for root cause and corrective actions.
• Support audits and supplier quality activities.
• Collaborate with Production, Industrial Engineering and Logistics to reduce non-quality costs.
