Job summary

Webrecruit is seeking a tyre centre operative to fit tyres, batteries and exhausts, working in a small team while also able to work independently. The role requires a practical approach, strong communication and a commitment to high standards in an automotive retail setting.

You will join a busy centre with training and development opportunities, and a focus on delivering safe, efficient service to customers. Hours are 8:30am to 6:00pm Monday to Friday, with weekend work discussed at interview.

Qualifications

• Flexible approach to tasks and ability to manage workload.
• Excellent communication in a busy retail automotive setting.
• Experience working in a busy retail environment.
• Interest in fitting tyres, batteries, exhausts safely.

Responsibilities

• To fit any product specified by the Company to customer vehicles and carry out a range of ancillary services to customer vehicles.
• To increase sales of products and services offered by the Company, in accordance with procedures.
• To maintain the cleanliness of the Centre and its equipment on an ongoing basis.
• To comply with reasonable instructions from Management.
• To adhere to the Company’s Policy & Procedures.
• The company will supply you with uniform, it must be clean and presentable at all times.
• To be available for work at the times specified by the Company.
