Job summary

Ripon Paint and Body, part of the Ripon Farm Services Group, is seeking a skilled mechanic for our in-house bodyshop in Ripon. The role focuses on repairing a variety of vehicles for manufacturers, insurers and the public.

You will perform mechanical, electrical and trim repairs, inspect engine components with diagnostic tools and complete documentation to required standards, with training to ensure compliance with repair approvals.

Qualifications

• Servicing, repairs and maintenance to high standards.
• Diagnose issues using computer-based diagnostic equipment.
• Accurately record time and complete documentation to required standards.
• IMI Level 3 in Light or Heavy Vehicle maintenance & repair or equivalent.

Responsibilities

• Carry out mechanical repairs for manufacturers, insurance companies and the public.
• Repair a variety of vehicles from the company fleet, including mechanical, electrical, and trim repairs to accident damaged vehicles.
• Training will be required to ensure compliance with repair approvals, and support will be given.
