Job summary

Ripon Farm Services Ltd. is seeking a Mechanical Technician to service, repair, and maintain vehicles to high standards. You will diagnose mechanical and electrical issues using computer-based diagnostic tools and document all work meticulously.

The role involves repairing vehicles for manufacturers, insurers, and the public, with day-to-day tasks spanning mechanical, electrical and trim repairs on accident-damaged vehicles. Training will be provided to ensure compliance with repair approvals.

Qualifications

• Ability to carry out servicing, repairs, and maintenance to high standards.
• Inspect engine and mechanical/electrical components to diagnose issues accurately.
• Record time and documentation to required standards.
• IMI Level 3 or equivalent qualification.

Responsibilities

• Complete mechanical repairs for manufacturers, insurers and the public.
• Repair vehicles from the company fleet: mechanical, electrical and trim work on accident damaged cars.
• Training will be provided to ensure compliance with repair approvals.
