Job summary

Halfords Autocentres in Telford is offering an Apprenticeship that combines hands-on learning with college training. You will encounter a wide range of vehicles, from servicing to diagnostics, under expert supervision, and you’ll gain diagnostic and repair skills on engines, chassis and electrical systems.

The programme develops practical abilities, problem solving and customer service, with day release to college, a 5 day week, and clear pathways to progressing as a qualified vehicle technician

Qualifications

• GCSE Maths and English at Grade C or above (or equivalents).
• Commitment to completing a college-based apprenticeship programme.

Responsibilities

• Gain knowledge and skills to become a competent technician in the workplace.
• Work on vehicles from routine servicing to diagnostic repairs under supervision.
• Develop diagnostic and repair skills across engines, chassis and electrical systems.
• Learn to diagnose faults and repair to high standards while customer-focused.
