Job summary

Waylands Automotive Limited is seeking an experienced Technician to join our Volvo dealership in Oxford. You will work with our dedicated team, using diagnostic equipment to service and repair vehicles, while delivering right-first-time results. A full driving licence is essential and training will be provided where needed.

Contract Type Mon-Fri 8.30am-5pm with Saturday on a rota basis (41 hours per week).

Salary Generous basic with an OTE of £50k.

Waylands is a successful and growing motor retail group, with 15 representation points across the Thames Valley and the M4 corridor, extending into South Wales.

We are looking for an experienced Technician to work alongside our existing dedicated team at our Volvo dealership in Oxford. The successful candidate will be time served and hold NVQ or equivalent qualifications to Level 3.

What’s the role?

Although this is predominantly not a diagnostic role, you must be able to use current diagnostic equipment, have a proven track record in delivering 'right first time' work and have good communication skills.

In this role you will work towards productivity and efficiency targets, and repair and service customer vehicles. Main dealer experience would be preferred; however full training will be given. A full driving licence is essential.
